Notre Dame received its first verbal commitment of the 2012 recruiting class. Tee Shepard a defensive back recruit from Central East High School in Fresno, CA is the exact type of DB Brian Kelly and his staff are out recruiting. Shepard, the 6'1" 175lbs California native choose Notre Dame over a host of top caliber programs (Alabama, Auburn, Cal, Miami, and USC). Shepard has been invited and already accepted an invitation to participate in 2012's U.S. Army Game.
